Australian Unicycle Society - Uninats 2010 - Canberra - 1-4 October

Uninats is the Australian National Unicycle championships and festival, the biggest event on the local unicycling calendar, so put it in your diary, and spread the word!

We are planning to make this one a significant Canberra event- encouraging spectators to come and watch and be wowed, Events are being held all over Canberra so you'll need transport- there should be enough people with cars to give lifts to those without so we will set up car pooling to make sure no-one gets left behind.

We're going to launch at 6pm on Friday evening inthe Garema Place Chess Pit, right in the heart of the city, launch plans are still under development and good ideas gratefully received. The launch will be followed at 6.30pm by the FLATLAND competition (again in Garema Place) On Saturday we will be based at the Southern Cross Basketball Stadium in Tuggeranong for HOCKEY, FREESTYLE and BASKETBALL, followed by the annual AUS meeting and PARTY Sunday will be BUSY with TRACK EVENTS in the morning at AIS in Bruce and TRIALS, MUNI and Field events at Mount Stromlo Forest Park On Monday morning the 5 and 10k races around Lake Burley Griffin will happen early, followed at 9am by STREET at Eddison Skate Park in Woden and UNINATS close.
