Canberra unicyclists to appear on ABC TV – get riding!

The ABC documentary show, Stateline, is preparing to do a story on the Canberra unicycling club, ACTURs, in the lead up to the national convention to be held on the October long weekend.

Stateline plans to film different riders performing a range of unicycling feats – so polish up your best acts. A hockey game would be great – if you are interested in playing, let organisers know.

When & where: initially (and perhaps only), this will be a Wednesday night session at Canberra High School, likely to be the last week of term (Pizza Night), 30 June 2010.

How to get involved: If you want to participate and get on the telly, get along to as many ACTURs meetings as you can leading up to the 30 June. Also think about whether you would like to be interviewed - Robert Armstrong will be coordinating a list for the TV crew. If you are stuck for transport etc, let organisers know.

Who can participate:  All ACTURs members and friends are welcome. Beginners are welcome - that’s a story right there.
