The Great Unicycle Challenge - Maryborough Mary Poppins Festival
Calling all unicyclists to take part in the Great Unicycle Challenge at the Maryborough Mary Poppins Festival.
Come along and participate in a magical fun day as Maryborough celebrates its unique connection to Mary Poppins.
When: Sunday 4th July 2010
Maryborough is located 250km north of Brisbane and is the gateway to the Fraser Coast. There will be two heats during the day at 11am and 2pm where unicyclists will compete in races including:
- 50m Sprint
- 50m Backwards race
- 50m ride and juggle
- 10m Slow race
- 30m Sky race (competitors must freemount a giraffe unicycle (5’minimum), race to the end and then dismount gracefully).
Great prize to be won and all participants will receive meal vouchers and cold drinking water on the day!

Brisbane Ride - Wednesday 8th July - 11.30am @ Southbank
Isaac Conyers is heading to Toowoomba to ride with Kevin Wharton for a week and they will be in Brisbane on Wednesday the 8th July.
All Brisbane riders are invited to come along for a ride on Wednesday morning, meeting at 11:30am at Southbank.

Calling for unicyclists for Bike Week event at Kallangur, Queensland

Pine Rivers Uniting Church

As part of Bike Week '09, a bike fair will be held in the Pine Rivers Uniting Church grounds at Kallangur in Queensland, from 3pm. Organisers are looking for unicyclists to join in the festivities, set up a stand and put on a demo. The fair will include stalls and displays from clubs (including MTB and Roadies, as well as a BUG so far), gym, running, stretching, spin clinic etc, videos, a BMX display, coffee van, children's bike safety check-up and more.... There will be a barbecue available from 5.30pm and the movie night kicks off from 6.30pm.
