UniNats
The AUS are proud to host the UniNats - the Australian National Unicycling Championships.
The UniNats are the biggest event on the Australian unicycling calendar, and involve dozens of unicyclists from around the country and around the world. They are held every two years, with the assistance of organising committees around Australia.
There are a wide range of activities held at the UniNats, to suit a wide range of riders.
For those who like to compete, there are a wide range of official competitions - as defined by the International Unicycling Federation (IUF), including:
- Track and Field
- Races
- 100m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, 4x400m relay
- Backwards, Slow Board, Ride-and-juggle, Wheel-walk
- Coasting
- Obstacle Course
- High Jump and Long Jump
- Races
- Team Sports
- Unicycle Hockey
- Unicycle Basketball
- Freestyle
- Individual, Pairs, Group
- Muni (Cross-Country)
- Trials
General participation is encouraged, with separate rankings for different age groups and championship medals awarded to deserving performancers.
For those who want to improve their own skills, there are workshops and skill-level testing.
For those who want to have a bit of fun, there are games, record attempts and lots of opportunity to meet new unicyclists and to socialise with old friends.
